Pau Víctor Lever: The 'fair play' that his transfer to Braga generates.

Hi community!

Barça will receive €12 million plus €2 million in variables for the Sant Cugat del Vallés striker.

The sale of Pau Víctor to Sporting Braga also has a key impact from an economic perspective and LaLiga's financial control. The forward from Sant Cugat del Vallés generates approximately €8 million in fair play for FC Barcelona, a very valuable figure when it comes to signing new players or new contracts this summer.

The Portuguese club will pay €12 million fixed, of which Barça will receive 70%, approximately €8.4 million, while Girona retains 30% of any future sale. The agreement also includes €3 million in variables, the implementation of which will depend on the player's performance with his new team.

To this amount must be added the salary savings. Pau Víctor, despite not having a high salary within the first-team scale, did represent a net cost for the club. His departure frees up a portion of the salary cap, which, added to the net transfer income, raises the total benefit in terms of fair play to €8 million.

A successful move for FC Barcelona, as the Catalans signed the striker for 2.7 million euros and sold him just a year later for five times that amount.

Following the arrivals of Roony Bardghji and Marcus Rashford, Flick was overbooked upfront. But the departures of Pablo Torre (5 million euros for 50% to Mallorca), Ansu Fati (on loan to Monaco), and now Pau Víctor to Braga, Barça have freed up space and wage bill.

In addition to the forwards, Barça also sold Álex Valle to Como for 6 million euros and Lenglet on a free transfer to Atlético Madrid, for a total of 24 million euros plus variable amounts and a percentage of future sales.

A very good sale for Barça, considering he's been a completely secondary player in Flick's plans and his Transfermarkt valuation is only four million. A great deal for the Catalans.
