Lagos is overpopulated, yet we still find many people coming from different states to make it their base because it is a city where, if you know what you are doing, you can easily make it here due to the population and demand for goods and services. I was born in Lagos and spent most of my life here. I spent two years in Ijebu Ode, and that was when I went there to live with my sister and did my junior secondary school 1 and 2 there before moving back to Lagos to complete my studies. I was still young then, so I did not explore Ijebu, but after I graduated from secondary school and paid a visit to my cousin living in Ibadan for two weeks, I noticed some things about Ibadan state which surprised me. Recently, I visited Ibadan city again, and to my surprise, nothing changed about those things I found surprising about the city.
