A mischievous friend
There's a popular saying that 'people are always responsible for the change of another person. ' Well, I believe this because I watched my philanthropist of a dad become too careful when helping people because of a scam that almost traumatized him. My dad had too many people who called him their friends. I didn't like it, but there was nothing I could do to reduce my dad's excessive love for mankind ...

A Sanctum of Light
The elven apprentice watches the human calligrapher as she bends over the table, her hair tied back in golden braids in the manner of her northern tribes, mechanical quill in hand that she guides across the vellum parchment. Her gaze is fixed on the nib, which makes a soft rustling sound as it rubs against the page and deposits the glistening ink. When she finishes, she hovers over the manuscript, unblinking, her lips moving as if chanting a spell. “Good evening, sister,” says the apprentice ...

Port Harcourt Peril
Show me off, show me to the world... My favourite song from the music legend Asa, played through my phone, breaking the morning calm and silence a unique alarm tone I had set about a year now, which also serves as my ringing tone, jolting me up from sleep, rather than putting it off and continue sleeping as I would usually do on my lazy off days, this day was different, I allowed it played as I immediately mumbled what seemed like the shortest of prayer and moved to check if mum was still asleep, as we had plans to visit my favorite aunt living at port Harcourt today. I had long anticipated this day, it was probably the excitement of getting to visit my aunt and hold her newborn baby for the first time, as the last time we saw her was when we bid her farewell to her husband's house after her wedding also because it was my first time visiting the city of port Harcourt, one of the crazy states in Nigeria I've heard so much about. Mum was an early riser, so she was already awake, head covered, already on bended knees, elbows supported by the bed as she effortlessly prayed to her maker, one would think she was having one on one communication with a physical being, the way she prays, I knew there was no way I could interrupt her, so I let her take her time, much to my impatience, kneeling beside her, I couldn't wait to leave this village as it was boring, not as I had envisaged before we arrived from Lagos, I thought I would get to see some of my cousins but to my dismay, they were all in school now, and I was the only young person around in our family house as the older ones held the family meeting that brought us here, I was more like the er ...

Sunny day! Drone day!🧭🌅 / Dia de Sol! día de drone!🚩 (En-Es) (+video)
Here in my country, it's almost impossible to use a drone between March and April; it rains a lot, and I don't think it's worth the risk of getting it wet! I took advantage of the opportunity to do some test flights, since I was in northern Portugal and the weather was almost 26 degrees. I'm in an area called "Miramar Beach". At the same time, outside of summer, we don't see many people swimming, so it's ideal for using a drone! ...

Hello friends and Hivians. Wow, it's been 23 days since I last posted. I think that might be the longest I have ever gone on the chain without a post. Most days have been a bit of a challenge to say the least ...
April Midday Grocery: Facing The Summer Heat
I've been doing grocery shopping at lunch or afternoon lately. I hate the warm temperature of summer but I have no choice because my sleeping time is wrecked once again that it's difficult for me to wake up early. For this month's grocery quest, I set off at lunch time. Yup, the peak of summer heat ...

Blossoms
Blossoms Good Morning, I hope all is well with you and your week is going well, the weekendis fast approaching :) One one of my recent walks on a nice sunny day, the warmest day we have had thus far at the time I took this walk it was 63F which is around 14 Celcius I think, This was my best day for steps in a long time, got a total of 18K steps that day, well over the 10K I try and get each day, but the walking i have bene doing on nice days with my camera, or in our sunroom on colder or wet days is working, that and eating healthy I have lost over 40 Pounds from the peka I was at last year, and even weigh less now that I did when I came out after surgery and 5 weeks in hospital last year. glad to say according to the recommended weight tables I am no longer over weight and am in the normal weigh catergory :) But thats not what this post was meant to be about, On this walk I had two goals one to find some signs of springs and walk around the outer edge of the park which I had not done for a while. and the first part I did succeed and one sign of spring is the blossoms and thats what I will focus on for today Sony A7iv 37mm F84.5 1/1000 Sec ISO 100 I am not sure what type of tree this is on but I did enjoy checking them out This is oen of the trees the blossoms were on, perhaps someone who knows more about trees than I do can say what type it is Sony A7iv 35mm F7.1 1/400 Sec ISO 100 another closer in shot of a blossom Sony A7iv 37mm F4.5 1/1000 Sec ISO 100 some were fully open and some just opening Sony A7iv 63mm F2.8 1/2000 Sec ISO 100 and another tree with nice yellow blossoms ...

Themed photographs for Milagros 15th birthday | monomad challenge.
Happy Wednesday friends, I hope you are very well, for today's photo shoot I want to share with you the work we were doing for the birthday of Milagros, these photos we have them pautadas for her birthday which I was not clear about the day but the date for us to make these photos was for April 21, if friends almost yesterday, that was no problem, the problem was that the pattern was yesterday afternoon and was at 3:00 pm, but she arrived at 6: 30 because they did not finish fixing it before, luckily she is a client for years because if I do not return it, hahaha, it's not true, I would have attended her anyway, the question was when she told me that her birthday was today hahaha my face was a poem, that meant that the photos would need the photos for today and well, after all here she is friends, fulfilling and being responsible but almost takes me green gray hair hahaha, but well friends, so the photos turned out, Despite all that the photos turned out pretty cool, At the moment we laughed a lot and I jokingly told her that the photos were not going to be ready, that she was going to upload them another day because she was going to tell me late that her birthday was today, for being late, that I had more work in front of hers and she almost had a heart attack, but I had her like that for a while until I told her it was a joke so she could pose and take the photos well, I'm bad, I know, but it's just confidence, this was this week but I share it with you now. Feliz miércoles amigos, espero se encuentren muy bien, para la sesión fotográfica del día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes el trabajo que estuvimos realizando para el cumpleaños ...

My First Ancient from Chests - Treasure Hunt in Crownrend #3
I know it's been a long time since I've shared a Treasure Hunt with you. I've actually continued to open chests in the game during that time, but I haven't found much of interest. And I don't think people want to see junk. Now in this video you're going to see an important milestone for me ...

Cayo Sal, The ideal beach for some peace and quiet (ENG-ESP)
Venezuela is known for its beaches, and I understand why. A few weeks ago, I was with my family in Cayo Sal, located in Falcón State. This beach is ideal if you want to relax listening to the sound of the sea under the shade. We left from Valencia, which is about three hours from Falcón State ...

A Visit to the Botanical Gardens of Rio De Janeiro "Jardim Botânico": Giant Trees, Huge Lilypads, and Wild Monkeys!
There was one place I wanted to visit due to a suggestion from @mengao. I saw one of his photographs from the Botanical Gardens of Rio thought it might be a good sight to see. @alexandrefeliz also confirmed that it was quite the place. He said there are many opportunities to see a toucan which I had not seen yet in my brazilian adventure ...
