He was an avid reader,
with a special interest in magic
Curiosity got the better of him.
He longed to test his knowledge.
She seemed the ideal subject,
an intriguing mind, yet vulnerable
The perfect candidate
for his experiment.

He chanted the sacred hymns,
hoping to manifest her,
to satisfy his ego,
to quench his curiosity
or perhaps,
it was simply attraction in disguise.
The manifestation seemed to work.
She found herself drawn to him.

But something unexpected happened.
He believed he would remain untouched. Instead, the spell caught him too.
Little did he know,
she possessed special abilities,
the power to captivate minds,
A gift he could neither understand,
nor ever resist.

The spellcaster became the enchanted.
Now both were irresistibly drawn to one another,
Caught in a cyclic reverse spell
from which neither could walk away.
