Healing Is Not Aesthetic, It’s Uncomfortable

According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Healing is the process of restoring health, wholeness, or soundness to the body, mind, or spirit, often involving recovery from illness, injury, or emotional trauma. It signifies a return to a balanced state, combining physical repair (e.g., tissue regeneration) with mental and emotional restoration. In my opinion i see healing as simply a process or a journey that we naturally embark on to achieve
active restoration. Healing can come in any form and could be in any ramification as it is limitless and has no bounds, could be spiritual healing, physical healing, emotional healing or even psychologically. One very important one is financial healing as well.

In our world today, the internet and civilization/modernisation have made us find or embrace different ways to do things of which healing is one of them. The internet or social media has its own way of beautifying things and giving us a different impression or channel our minds to think a certain way just based on the contents that our eyes are getting fed up with. In today's reality social media glamorizes healing and make it look like a very easy or beautiful phase to go through but it does not work that way on a personal level.
Healing in reality takes a lot and sometimes it puts us in phases or positions that we wont want to be seen by anyone else, sometimes in the process of healing we cry, crying alone in the dark or at night sometimes we have to cut people off or avoid so many things that we used to love or do, an example for me is stopping cigarretes and quitting weed as well, it felt very terrible at the beginning but here i am still standing strong and tall as i go through this hard healing phase. In some cases healing entails being alone and responsible for facing your own flaws by yourself. It is not actually easy to heal and be whole again, it is very hard and hateful but it is a very important phase to achieve a beautiful life.

When someone is in the process of healing, it takes growth and maturity to do some certain things an also we need to be accountable. Everyone thinks that transformation is beautiful and fun, sometimes other people want to be involved in the process but unfortunately it doesnt work that way, transformation is a very lonely process that doesnt want to accommodate third party in it as it could be very unpleasant to the sight also it brings a fufilled peace that comes to stay. Healing is very ugly before it becomes beautiful or admirable so yeah we need to put in all that work.
