Happy Tuesday Friends! I wish you a great week ahead of you. I am just writing this article to express my mind towards new creators and those of us that are struggling to get upvotes sometimes.
I have noticed that unlike every other social media platforms ot communities, #hive is very unique and it requires a specific and different approach to navigate through it properly unlike web2 social media apps. When many people joined the Hive (blockchain publishing platform)newly through any front end, they setup their profile and maybe make an introduction post or à nice article and then hope that one post will suddenly explode and bring big rewards without knowing that is not how it works.

Hive works differently and with strict enough regulatory measures to make sure community is safe and rewards keep running smoothly Thats why you don’t just put out a random article or something with no useful information and expect to get voted. I want all the new users and existing users to know and remember that #hive is not just an app but it is a community and as such we need #love to grow. The love for #hive naturally takes away low quality posts, Ai, plagiarism and most importantly if you love hive you will show CONSISTENCY.
The platform tends to reward consistency more than sudden viral moments and I can testify to that. My beginning wasn’t good enough based on upvotes but do we care? What matters most tp some writers is real comments and engagements, I just want to feel seen thats all. Writers who show up regularly, share thoughtful ideas and engage with others are the ones who slowly build recognition inside communities, and there’s no way you’d be ignored.

Over time people start to recognize familiar usernames. They know who writes meaningful comments and who contributes to discussions and that’s how reputation grows little by little.
A single viral post may bring attention for a moment, but consistent presence builds something stronger which is trust within the community, so that way you don’t get upvotes alone but you have a brand which is also a good name.

Please take into consideration that #Hive is not just a publishing platform where you dump anything for rewards but It is a network of conversations and the people who grow the most are the ones who participate steadily rather than chasing quick results.

Por eso, no se puede publicar un artículo cualquiera o algo sin información útil y esperar recibir votos. Quiero que todos los usuarios, tanto nuevos como antiguos, sepan y recuerden que #hive no es solo una aplicación, sino una comunidad, y como tal, necesitamos #amor para crecer. El amor por #hive elimina naturalmente las publicaciones de baja calidad, la IA, el plagio y, lo más importante, si amas Hive, mostrarás CONSTANCIA.

Mis inicios no fueron lo suficientemente buenos según los votos positivos, pero ¿acaso nos importa? Los escritores que se presentan con regularidad, comparten ideas interesantes e interactúan con los demás son los que poco a poco se ganan el reconocimiento dentro de las comunidades, y es imposible que pases desapercibido.

Con el tiempo, la gente empieza a reconocer nombres de usuario familiares. Saben quién escribe comentarios significativos y quién contribuye a las discusiones, y así es como la reputación crece poco a poco.

Una publicación viral puede atraer la atención momentáneamente, pero la presencia constante construye algo más sólido: la confianza dentro de la comunidad. De esta manera, no solo se obtienen votos positivos, sino que también se construye una marca, que es sinónimo de buena reputación.
