Short Diary on Sunday | Random Chamber Talk | Alive and Thriving on July 13, 2025

Hi there. How are you? I hope you are doing great. Welcome to my Post. It's the alive and thriving report on Sunday, July 13, 2025.

On Sunday, the full-time workday for me, I consulted 18 patients in my chamber. Amid summer school vacation, the patients' flow has been quite low in the last few weeks. Hence, it was an easy day at work. In the visa medical section, I examined some people who came for the fitness test.

Of them, there was a patient who came for a follow-up visit. He visited around one week before sustaining a physical assault injury. That day, I gave him an injection and oral painkillers. He got an injury to his right upper back area and left leg (close to the knee joint). This time, the pain in the upper back was okay but the pain in his leg didn't subside! So, we decided to do an X-ray. The X-ray showed a fracture at the upper end of the fibula, the non-weight-bearing bone of the leg!! Unfortunate guy!! I referred him to the higher center!

At home, it was a usual day with a morning sleep, an afternoon nap, and without any treadmill walk. According to the Fitbit app, I could make 8675 steps on Sunday!

Okay. That's all for today. Alhamdulillah, I am alive, healthy, and thriving. How about you?

My husband asked this morning if maybe I fractured my knee. I said no because it is getting better, and I can put more weight on it. It is just not all the way there yet. I hope your patient gets the help he needs.

Good to see that your knee is getting better! I hope that it gets well fully!

That patient, will most likely go to his home country for the proper management.

Thank you, I walked outside today, first time out in almost a week. I did not walk far before it started hurting, so I am back in my chair. I do not want to push it.

It seems that you had a fairly productive day, albeit a quiet one.
It's interesting how summer vacations can influence patient flow.

Hmm. Families are visiting different places. Hence, the number is less, I guess!

Or, all the people around are quite healthy! 😜

Thanks
