Follow-up visit to the Hospital and Hearing Test for the newborn | Alive and Thriving on April 27, 2025, Sunday

Hi again! How are you? I hope you are doing great. Welcome to my short diary for Sunday, April 27, 2025.

After discharge from the hospital on the 23rd of April, the follow-up schedule was made for the 27th of April. Hence, we went to the hospital at around 9 am. There was no rush. The gynaecologist examined my wife. The post-operative status was okay. The pediatrician examined the newborn. According to him, the baby was also fine. The specialist only examined physically, and no tests were requested.

From there, we went to the government hospital for the newborn's hearing test. Alhamdulillah, hearing is okay. Then, we returned home. Our elder boy was at school. Hence, he didn't accompany us in the morning.

In the afternoon, my son and I went to two shopping centers to buy a globe of the world. We have been searching for it for a long time. Unfortunately, no shopping centers or libraries have a globe in the English language. My son is eagerly waiting for one!

On Sunday, I walked on the treadmill for two sessions; 15 minutes each. Those two walks helped me reach over 15k steps on the day.

Okay. That's all for today. I am alive, healthy, and thriving. So do other family members. Alhamdulillah. How about you?
