RE: How to easily open sewn-shut pockets of new blazers, jackets or coats

I'm fairly used to that with suit jackets and blazers. I still get surpised sometimes, though, when I buy pants and the pockets are sewn-up.
My biggest problem is, that I often forget about it and just realize it when I already left the house and don't have any scissors or similar with me to open them.
