Hive is a website where you can write and interact in a same way that any social media and still owning everything that you produce. But everything is based in a digital coin called Hive. The more Hive, the stronger your “likes” become.

thanks...tried to use as many easy words as possible! we need to imagine trying to explain to a middle school kid I think hehehe, there are fancy words that are trickier to use like crypto, decentralization....
A lot of people use the term decentralisation but it often doesn't ring a bell to the people hearing it.
I was trying to explain to my 8 year daughter what was BTC one of these days hehe
