My Experience of Brawl Play with Foundation Cards.....
Hello all Hive People & @Splinterlands lovers,
Few day back I shared my views on the Frontier Mode of @Splinterlands game. I still feel that the Frontier Mode is not easy as I expected and still feel that the Green and Black team i.e. Earth team and the Death Team are strong when using the initial level cards, this is based on own experience. I am still playing the Frontier Mode when ever I got some free time and hoping for getting a Black Foil card from the weekly draws. Its very clear that the cards belongs to the Frontier Mode are not as strong as the other editions and one reason is the mana cost and low health. Recently the Splinterlands team has announced that the new Frey has been added which is for the Foundation cards. I am part of team possible Guild and our captain asked in the group if anyone is having the foundation set and interested in the Frey. I have completed all the chapters of the Champaign so I am holding all the cards earned form the Champaign, the cards are at initial level at I have not upgraded any card. But I was very much interested in the Frey for foundation cards as I love to see the performance of the Bloodlust cards form the Gladius cards along with the foundation cards. The captain assigned the Frey and I love to share my experience.
Brawl Battle
When I was drafting the post, 12 hours were left to submit the teams for battle. I have submitted my all seven battles and won three five battles also. Here I am sharing the screenshot of team lineup of three battles. All three are played with Earth team and if you you observed then I am have used Quora Towershead in all the three battles.
The Quora Towershead is truly a killing machine, once the bloodlust get trigged she is unstoppable. Lets have a look at the one battle round by round.
The battle has three battle rules - Deflection Field, Noxious Fumes & Hive Five and the maximum mana allowed was 46.
Lets have a look at the rules in details and selection of the teams based on same.
Deflection Field - I can not use the cards with blast ability and attacked on first line card of opponent.
Noxious Fumes - The cards with Immunity and the self healing are best choice for it so I chooses the Time Bandit which has the Cleanse ability and Quora Towershead & Dread Tafarian also which has the self heading ability.
High Five - It restrict the use of more then five cards for battle. I have chosen the best five cards which costs the 41 mana.
The opponents also used the Dread Tafarian which is a good choice but as the opponent used it at first place I placed the cards at the end. For particularly the Noxious Fumes rule I love to place the card with self healing at the back line as they survive more round. The health lost by the Noxious Fumes get heled every round. Even if I do not even attack on opponent the Noxious Fumes take the life of cards every round.
When the round 2 started there was no loos on either side. All the cards got damage at the end of the round because of the Noxious Fumes but not the first line card of my teams because of the Immunity.
I lost my first card i.e. New Beluroc Aegis at end of round 2, the opponent team also got the damage to all the cards but not lost any card. I was bit confused at that time if my strategy will work or not.
By the end of round three I lost another card i.e. Mad Gearhead and the opponent was battling without any loose. But now I can clearly seen that health of opponent's all cards was decreasing with every round.
The was no lost on either side during the round four but I can clearly see the decrease in life of cards on other side. The Noxious Fumes was doing his work every round.
Round five was also similar to the the round four only.
During opponent's card started melting down by the Noxious Fumes and he lost two cards in round 6.
The Quora Towershead also tasted the blood and the her powers were increased, I was knowing that she will be unstoppable now onwards.
Next round was the final round and Quora Towershead with three magic and three melee attack taken down the opponent's remaining two cards.
It was time to celebrate the Victory.
Following three Legendary Cards (form Neutral, Death and Water splinter) pulled form previous season loot chests. Kulu Matermind looks awesome and Drybone Raider looks dangerous. Waiting for Gold Foil Legendary.
