From Wishing to Winning: My First Black/Gold Foil Archon Card

The Frontier game mode become one of my favorite mode in Splinterlnads. The one of the biggest advantage of playing in Frontier mode is that you will face the real players only as the bots are not allowed in this format and you also get the chance to get Black Foil, Black Foil Archon and Gold Foil Archon card. Form the day I start plating the Frontier game mode I wish if could get a any of those Black Foil, Black Foil Archon and Gold Foil Archon cards. Until the last draw I was just wishing and the luck was with me, I pulled one Gold Foil Archon cards i.e. Arcane Glimmer.

When I clicked on claim after the season end I was looking at the screen hopping will get some rewards but I was disappointed when see some error msg. It happens some time may be because of the internet connection issue or some time because of the node issue. After some time I checked the reward history and I was glad to see my user name in the list. Immediately checked the game collection section and filtered it to block foil but I have not seen anything. I was confused as I can see my name in the list but not able to find the card in the collection, I forget that the Black foil are not only cards which are rewarded in the draws. After some research I filtered as per Gold Foil Archon and able to see the card in my collection.
The card belongs to the Death Splinter and Fiend bloodline. At present the card is trading at the approximately 10 USD and yes its Archon card so it is max level card by default. I am not using the card much in the battles except the rule which allows the melee to attack form any position. Card does not have any ability so can not be used in first position (card with healing ability is most preferred), I wish if the card could have at least the reach ability, I must make good use of this card. Their is not suitable card which can use used in second position also when using the black team in Frontier game mode.
Recently I purchased two Foundation cards to strengthen my Water team i.e. Asel Alagosdil which is Epic rarity cards and Mystic Scaleweaver, which is only Legendary rarity card. Both are very useful and now I am using the water team mostly.

Game progress - Frontier Mode

The current splinterlands season will end in six days and I have unlocked the Gold II league. The new added card fomr the water Splinter really strength my teams and I am battling in Gold league now. I need 120 more ranked points to unlock the Gold I league. The current rank is 584 and every day I am playing approximately 20 to 30 battles and trying to complete the all three quests which not only give me none draw tickets but three packs also. I have not opened any pack recently, but planning to open some as I am going to upgrade my foundation cards and also planning to start a giveaway series to share the rewards with community.
