Whose History is it Anyway? Power, Narratives, and the Search for Truth

We must know our history and not forget our roots. This is the advice the elders less is always form our childhood. This is one important advice we must follow as history only tells as who really we are and form where we belongs to. History is a important part of our life and every young must know the facts and understanding the consequences our own people faces in the past. Their may be wars they have fought for the freedom of may be the some innovative work they had done in history, all this give encourage to us and help us in moving forward and progress in life. Mostly we depend on the writeup or books we have with us to known about the history. It's era of technology so we have many digit options also but they also somehow connected with the history books only. Yes to make is spicyamy time the directions add some spices in it to entertain the audience. But is the stories we learned or read in the books are the true even, mentioned same as it happened in the history of they are manipulated of ltered as per the wish of the author or the people in th epower at that time. It's one of the easy way to make wong a right thing if we will be able to document it and kept it for the generation to read. No one belive the oral stories and that also got faded over time but sometimes written in the books remain same and give the same message to the audience reading it. So their are high chances that the people in the power will ensure that the truth (if it's against them) should not come out.

As I mentioned above every story has two versions and how is villain and whon is hero, depends on the whomes version you are listening too. In our daily life also, just look around you, you will find out examples very easily. Your relatives may has some dispute with eachother, you got a call form on epart and they will tell you their version of story (which mostly highlights the things which proves that they are not the reason of dispute and will put all the blame on other party). You alo so get convinced, now you got the call from the other part also and they will tell you their version of story and now you will be confused as you are not able to judge who is lying. Everyone just told the things which are in their favour they will never told their wrong actions. This is what we are carrying form the past and in ancient time also they write their version of story only. A written document form past is only requirement to make someone hero or villain. And when we carry those stories form generation now it's very easy to convience anyone and very difficult to prove the right and wrong. And if you will try to dig or give justification you will be criticized like anything. Do you think people of a neighbours country who do not have good relations and always in a war mode will told truth to their own people. They truth of how many people get killed in this war situation or how many prople they lost or property loose details never comes out. They always highlight the damage they have done to the other party. And how much truth is in that also is one big question. In such conditions this is mix of truth, false and misunderstanding. Everyone claim the things which make them superior to other group.

It's very important to analyse the things and research on the topic and dig harder to know the truth. But we must understand that the truth may be opposite to that what we have expected or we want to listen. We must be mature enough to take it easily. Just listening to what we have or believing on writeup with closed eyes will not change the situation to take the truth out we have to open our eyes first and we have to widen our mind also. Not necessarily we must dig about all the stories also.
