On this wonderful occasion, I would like to entertain you all with some photographs I captured using my smartphone camera.
Today I had the opportunity to capture the atmosphere at Pusong Wharf, Lhokseumawe. This pier is one of the centers of fishing activity in the coastal area of North Aceh.
On the edge stands an old bollard used for mooring boats. The entangled ropes and rusting metal surface are a powerful symbol of the harsh life of a sailor. In the background, fishermen's houses and simple wooden boats depict the life of coastal communities.
Lines of traditional fishing boats, painted in striking colors, are neatly moored along the pier, ready to return to sea, bringing hope and a catch. The cloudy sky and the reflections of the boats in the water enhance the serene and dramatic feel of the pier.
Pusong Pier is not just a place for boats to dock, but also a gathering place for the hopes and hard work of Acehnese fishermen.
