The Beauty of Mushrooms Behind Tree Trunks
Nature always holds unexpected surprises. While exploring the garden and trees, my eyes were drawn to two types of mushrooms growing on rotting logs.
The first mushroom was a glossy red with a combination of orange and white at the edges. The colors were so contrasting, it looked as if a painter's brush had deliberately painted a beautiful gradation there. Its sturdy form, clinging tightly to the trunk, demonstrated its strength in surviving even though it was only leaning against the brittle wood.
The second mushroom looked different. It was a dull brown with a rough, dry texture. While not as vibrant as the first mushroom, it still had its own charm. The natural streaks on its surface created a beautiful abstract art upon closer inspection.
These two mushrooms teach us that every creature has its own way of expressing beauty. Some are striking with bright colors, while others are simple yet captivating. 🌿
📷 I captured this photo using a smartphone camera with a macro lens to clearly see the small details. I did some simple editing to sharpen the colors and textures, thus preserving the mushroom's natural charm.
