Freewrite || A Small Market That's Never Completely Quiet

It wasn't quite midmorning when I passed this row of small roadside stalls. The atmosphere was simple, yet always lively. There were piles of sweet potatoes, hanging bananas, red chilies glowing on the corner of the table, and a few customers coming and going on their motorbikes.
In places like this, life goes on quietly. Not luxurious, but full of struggle. The vendors open their stalls early in the morning to earn a living for their families. Some simply shelter under simple tin roofs, while others sit and chat with fellow vendors, waiting for customers to arrive.
I've always loved the atmosphere of small markets like this. It feels closer to real life. Everything is seen as it is. There's no hustle and bustle of large buildings or flashing lights, just simple activities that repeat themselves every day.
Sometimes I think the strength of a community is born in places like this. From the hands of small traders, farmers, fishermen, and daily laborers who keep moving without complaint. They keep working despite the heat or sudden downpours.
In a corner of the market, several people paused to buy groceries before continuing their activities. Small moments like these often seem ordinary, but they actually hold many life stories.
For me, traditional markets are more than just places to buy and sell. They are also a place where hope, hard work, and togetherness meet as we go about our daily lives.
