Freewrite || A Morning Accompanied by the Crowing of the Yard Keeper

That morning felt so serene, as usual, I started the day with slow steps in the yard. The air was still fresh, the dew hadn't completely cleared, and sunlight slowly filtered through the gently swaying coconut leaves. Amidst this atmosphere, a rooster stood proudly atop a pile of red bricks, as if a little king ruling the yard.

The sound of its crowing broke the silence, signaling the beginning of a new day. There was something simple yet calming about this scene. There was no city hustle and bustle, no traffic, just nature and life going on as it was.

All around, clotheslines swayed gently in the breeze, adding to the impression of honest, unadulterated daily life. Everything felt so close and real. Small things like these often go unnoticed, yet they are where true happiness lies.

I stood for a moment, watching the rooster. With its bright feathers and confident demeanor, it seemed to remind me to stay strong and steadfast in facing the day. Sometimes, we just need to look at the simple things to find renewed vigor.

The day goes on, work awaits completion, but this morning's moments are already quite energizing. From this small page, I've learned that life doesn't always have to be complicated. Sometimes, simply enjoying what's in front of us can be enough and give us a sense of contentment and gratitude.

And so the morning passed, leaving behind a sense of calm that's hard to describe in words.
