RE: Now, and For All Yesterdays

You have an incredible way with words! Wow. After reading this I'd like to press my head against the grey bricks and feel the building for a moment, see if it could spread some magic and/or motivation to write to me as well. You post is a time capsule and a celebration of ongoing life; one that does not forget the less digestible details in the telling. The old man who stood (sat) vigil over the reasonably priced cup of coffee disappearing into the discord of a poorly tuned piano... This is what I see in my mind; laughter blending in with the notes, drank down with a tall glass of beer. Lovely

I particularly enjoyed this line:

oh yes, that one you impudently stole, and now, all in remorse, you desperately crave passing it back to its rightful creator

Funny, sad, and honest all in one. We must be careful what we reach for haha!

So these memories of things that have never happened keep piling up… Did they happen, or could they? Stolen poems and repotted souls?

Thanks for stopping by :)
