Greetings dear friends, lovers of architecture and design, I hope this is excellent for all of you and that you can accomplish all your goals.

In this opportunity I want to share with you a tour I did in the east of the city with my wife, after leaving the ophthalmology office and enjoyed capturing images of the buildings, parks, squares, redomas, walkways and everything that makes up the urban area of this little piece of Barquisimeto in the east of the city.

When leaving the Paris shopping center, which is where the IVEO clinic where I attend is located, you can see many buildings of different designs and colors surrounding the area. The urban architecture of this area of the city is characterized by tall and modern buildings, some of them unfinished and others that show very modern designs, I also show you a traffic circle with a fountain, nice walkways, urbanizations, among other buildings that adorn the streets of the area.

The first thing I found was a new access road lined with cobblestones that connects the Ciudad Paris shopping center with the redoma de los libertadores where you can see a large fountain made of reinforced concrete and shows a beautiful waterfall in intermittent lapses. The pedestrian access is through walkways covered with gray cobblestones where you can see a walk with images of the iconic sites of Lara state such as the obelisk, the flower of Venezuela, mantle of Mary, among others arranged along the route.

In the same area there is a nice playground under the shade of a leafy ceiba tree, which adorns with its design and allows parents to walk their children in a safe and pleasant place.

In this sector is the urbanization of the liberators, where you can see beautiful houses type “quintas” or town houses that previously did not use fences or walls to delimit the houses. Nowadays most of them had to break this design due to insecurity, but you can still see this type of houses in the area.

A few blocks further on, we find the Juan Guillermo Iribarren promenade, a very pleasant place that is being restored and that brings beautiful monuments and works of art to the community. Al is the monument to peace, which shows a group of people holding up the world with the foundation of peace, faith, empathy and other important values. Unfortunately some of the letters of the messages that were on the monument have disappeared.

The promenade has beautiful walkways where people take walks, exercise and walk their pets taking advantage of the airy and pleasant space. It is important to complete the restoration of these spaces so that the community can have this place as a must-see place for distraction and recreation.

From this walkway you can see several important buildings that were left unfinished due to the economic recession that has affected the construction sector. It also presents a view of the Lido Hotel and the Sambil shopping mall.

So far this brief walk through this beautiful sector of the city of Barquisimeto and that shows the urban growth that the city has experienced over time.

Arquitectura urbana al este de la ciudad

Saludos estimados amigos amantes de la arquitectura y el diseño, espero que esta sea excelente para todos y puedan cumplir todas sus metas.

En esta oportunidad les quiero compartir un recorrido que hice por el este de la ciudad enn compañía de mi esposa, luego de salir de la consulta de oftalmología y disfruté captando imágenes de las edificaciones, parques, plazas, redomas, caminerias y todo lo que conforma el área urbana de este pedacito de Barquisimeto en el este de la ciudad.

Al salir del centro comercial París, que es donde tiene su sede la clínica IVEO donde yo asisto, se observan muchos edificios de diferentes diseños y colores que rodean la zona. La arquitectura urbana de esta zona de la ciudad está caracterizada por altos y modernos edificios, algunos de ellos sin terminar y otros que muestran diseños muy modernos, también les muestro una redoma con una fuente, lindas caminerías, urbanizaciones, entre otras edificaciones que adornan las cales de la zona.

Lo primero que me conseguí fue un nuevo acceso vial revestido de adoquines que comunica el centro comercial Ciudad París con la redoma de los libertadores donde se puede apreciar una gran fuente elaborada con concreto armado y muestra una bonita cascada en lapsos intermitentes. El acceso peatonal es a través de caminerías revestidas con adoquines de color gris donde se aprecia un paseo con imágenes de los sitios icónicos del estado Lara tales como el obelisco, la flor de Venezuela, manto de María , entre otros dispuestos a lo largo del trayecto.

En esa misma zona se encuentra un bonito parque infantil bajo la sombra de una frondosa ceiba, que adorna con su diseño y permite a los padres pasear a sus niños en un sitio seguro y agradable.

En este sector está la urbanización los libertadores, donde se pueden apreciar hermosas viviendas tipo "quintas" o town houses que anteriormente no usaban cercas o muros para delimitar las casas. Actualmente la mayoria tuvo que romper este diseño a casusa de la inseguridad, pero aun se observan viviendas de ese tipo en la zona.

Hasta aquí este breve paseo por el este de la ciudad a fin de dar a conocer algunos aspectos del crecimiento urbano que ha tenido Barquismeto a través del paso de los años.

Mas adelante, a unas pocas cuadras encontramos el paseo Juan Guillermo Iribarren, un lugar muy agradable que está siendo restaurado y que aporta bonitos monumentos y obras de arte a la comunidad. Al se encuentra el monumento a la paz, que muestra un grupo de personas sosteniendo el mundo con el basamento de la paz, la fe, la empatía y otros valores importantes. Lamentablemente han desaparecido algunas letras de los mensajes que estaban en el monumento.

El paseo tiene bonitas caminerías donde las personas realizan paseos, hacen ejercicio y pasean sus mascotas aprovechando el espacio ventilado y agradable. Es importante terminar la restauración de estos espacios para que la comunidad tenga ese lugar como sitio obligado para la distracción y la recreación.

Desde este paseo se pueden observar varios edificios importantes que quedaron sin terminar motivado a la recesión económica que ha afectado al sector construcción. También presenta una vista del Lido Hotel y el centro comercial Sambil.

Hasta aquí este breve paseo por este bonito sector de la ciudad de Barquisimeto y que muestra el crecimiento urbano que ha experimentado la ciudad a través del tiempo.
