Saludos a todos los integrantes de la comunidad de @humanitas, espero se encuentren muy bien en este miércoles de enero.

Paso por acá atendiendo a una cordial invitación de mi amiga virtual @pannavi, a quien agradezco por el detalle, para exponer ideas y reflexiones acerca del tema de la conciencia política en nuestro pais, gracias a la iniciativa de @eudemo.

También hago la cordial invitación a @morepina para que se exprese sobre este asunto si le parece interesante esta Iniciativa.

En verdad que el tema político es y será siempre controversial debido a que cada persona tiene el derecho de seguir los lineamientos del partido a tolda política de su preferencia y a defenderlos de acuerdo a su criterio y conciencia.

Nuestro amigo @eudemo hacía algunas preguntas para guiar nuestra reflexión y me voy a referir específicamente a dos de ellas.

1. ¿Es posible mantener la neutralidad cuando se abordan temas políticos?

Pienso que es difícil permanecer neutral ante el tema político, sobretodo hoy día en que la política nos afecta directa o indirectamente. Por ejemplo cuando la maestra le enseña a nuestros hijos cosas que sabemos que son desviaciones de la historia o acontecimientos que se toman como ejemplo cuando se habla de paz y libertad y que lo que buscan es crear una ideología errada en las jóvenes mentes de nuestros hijos, debemos intervenir como padres responsables.

Cuando estudié bachillerato me enseñaron en formación moral y cívica a respetar la constitución y las leyes, a respetar los derechos humanos: el derecho a la protesta y la diversidad de criterios. Me enseñaron que la soberanía reside en el pueblo y que la democracia era la mejor forma de gobierno para vivir en paz y armonía. Esa enseñanza debe continuar porque eso forma parte de nuestra historia y debe ser imborrable.

2.¿Cómo podemos evitar caer en la polarización mientras promovemos el pensamiento crítico?

Aqui juega un papel fundamental la educación. Conozco educadores que no se han prestado para ser transmisores de mensajes falsos que aparecen en los pensums de estudios, que atentan contra la buena formación de nuestros hijos y por esa razón han sido excluidos del proceso educativo o penalizados de otra forma.

La educación debe fundamentarse en el respeto a las leyes y a los demás. Enseñar que todos tenemos deberes y derechos y que es normal que las personas tengan criterios diferentes porque todos pensamos y actuamos de diferente manera . Esa formación debe complementarse en el hogar principalmente con el ejemplo que los jóvenes vean en sus padres.

¿Qué pasó entonces con nuestra conciencia?

Poco a poco la gente fue perdiendo la fe en sus gobernantes y eso los llevó a buscar otras ideologías que le ofrecián una vida maravillosa y llena de bondades a la cual sucumbieron y ahora se arrepienten de ese error.

Recuerdo hace varios años cuando tuve edad para votar que existía lo que se llamaba la alternabilidad democrática, que consistía en el poder del pueblo para elegir libremente a sus gobernantes y si éstos no lo hacían bien, entonces se les castigaba con el voto en la siguiente elección.

Espero con mucha fe que volvamos a gozar de esa alternabilidad porque considero que eso es lo que robustece la democracia de un país y contribuye a llevar paz y armonía a todos sus habitantes.

Political awareness initiative

Greetings to all the members of the @humanitas community, I hope you are doing well on this Wednesday of January.

I'm here at the cordial invitation of my virtual friend @pannavi, whom I thank for the detail, to expose ideas and reflections on the subject of political consciousness in our country, thanks to the initiative of @eudemo.

I also cordially invite @morepina to express himself on this matter if he finds this Initiative interesting.

In truth, the political issue is and will always be controversial because each person has the right to follow the guidelines of the political party of his preference and to defend them according to his criteria and conscience.

Our friend @eudemo asked some questions to guide our reflection and I am going to refer specifically to two of them.

1. Is it possible to maintain neutrality when dealing with political issues?

I think it is difficult to remain neutral in the face of politics, especially nowadays when politics affects us directly or indirectly. For example, when the teacher teaches our children things that we know are deviations from history or events that are taken as an example when talking about peace and freedom and that what they seek is to create a wrong ideology in the young minds of our children, we must intervene as responsible parents.

When I studied high school I was taught in moral and civic formation to respect the constitution and the laws, to respect human rights: the right to protest and the diversity of criteria. I was taught that sovereignty resides in the people and that democracy was the best form of government to live in peace and harmony. That teaching must continue because it is part of our history and must be indelible.

2. How can we avoid falling into polarization while promoting critical thinking?

Education plays a fundamental role here. I know educators who have not lent themselves to be transmitters of false messages that appear in the curriculum, which threaten the proper formation of our children and for that reason have been excluded from the educational process or otherwise penalized.

Education should be based on respect for the law and for others. To teach that we all have duties and rights and that it is normal for people to have different criteria because we all think and act in different ways. That formation must be complemented at home mainly with the example that young people see in their parents.

What happened then to our conscience?

Little by little people lost faith in their rulers and that led them to look for other ideologies that offered them a wonderful life full of goodness to which they succumbed and now they regret that mistake.

I remember several years ago when I was old enough to vote that there was what was called democratic alternation, which consisted in the power of the people to freely elect their rulers and if they did not do it well, then they were punished with the vote in the next election.

I hope with great faith that we will once again enjoy this alternation because I believe that this is what strengthens the democracy of a country and contributes to bring peace and harmony to all its inhabitants.
