MCGI TOPIC REVIEW: THE BIRTH OF THE LORD JESUS

All births are special, but one of the most unique and special birth on earth was that of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ who was conceived by the virgin Mary in Bethlehem after the angel Gabriel revealed this unto her that the Holy spirit will come upon here and she will give birth to who we all call Jesus today.

Joseph the carpenter who was the husband of Mary at this time also got the inspiration from his dream which angel Gabriel revealed to him and asked him not to be afraid because the child inside Mary was from the holy spirit.

As instructed by the Holy spirit, Mary and Joseph embarked on a journey to to Bethlehem where our Lord Jesus Christ was born in a stable where the prophecy was fulfilled and the three wise men located him.

The birth of Jesus Christ was a testament of many prophecies as prophesied by John the baptist as Jesus being the Messiah and saviour of the world.
