MCGI TOPIC REVIEW: IS EATING PORK ALLOWED BY THE BIBLE?

According to the Mosaic Covenant and the Old Testament, there was an instruction to not eat some certain animals, especially those animals that have blemishes and that are considered to be unclean animals because they are forbidden for the Israelites to eat.

But according to the new dispensation, which is the New Testament, Jesus Christ the son of God, has come to this world to wash everything clean for mankind, which also means that everything has been purified by his blood that he shed on the cross of Calvary for the atonement and cleansing of our sins. This can be seen in the book of Mark 7:19.

However, Peter an apostle of Jesus also received the revelation that he could eat all food including all animals that were once considered to be unclean for the consumption of mankind.

Also in the book of 1 Timothy 4, Paul the apostle also made it clear to us that we should not turn away from those things that God has created because they were created for us and they are all good. This new dispensation has brought liberty to a lot of things but they must be done with holiness and of a clear mind.
