MCGI TOPIC REVIEW: DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY - HOW TO OVERCOME THESES BIBLICALLY | PART I
Happy Sunday, dear reader. I welcome you all to this new week in the name of God, and it is my pleasure to share with you another great teaching from a servant of God.
Our destiny as believers and servants of God is not defined by the difficulties that we are being faced with today, and according to the Bible in the book of Luke 16:20-22, we can see the story between Lazarus. He faced some challenges but overcame them. We can also see in the book of Job how Job himself was faced with a series of challenges, but he did not give up; he kept trusting in God, and we can see that the end of Job was far greater than his beginning.
Both Lazarus and Job accepted what came their way, and even when people asked them to curse God and die, Job refused to; he stood firm to show that he was a faithful, obedient, and loyal servant of God. And for Lazarus, he was faithful till his death, and that was why the Bible recorded that he was carried to the bosom of Abraham, a place where he will spend his eternity with God.
I am sure that most people have not passed through what these two passed through yet; they have lost faith in God. The stories of the two people above should always remind us that no matter the situation we find ourselves in, we should always have faith in God because he will always see us through it. Depression and anxiety are not the answer.
Phillipians 4:6-7 : Put not your anxiety over anything, but by prayer and supplication we should made know our petitions to God.
As children of God, we should always believe in God and put depression and anxiety aside because God will not give unto us a problem that we cannot overcome. All men are destined to face challenges in life, but the way we handle those challenges matters. Therefore, we should put our faith in the source that creates life because he knows our beginning and ending; we should always trust him to handle the matter for us.

GOD BLESS YOU!
