Quardians of the Church//MONOMAD CHALLENGE

Good Sunday dear Friends in the Black And White Community 🙌📸

These decorative stylized birds of prey are placed on the edge of the roof of the church in Pribić. I would say that such motifs on churches often have a dual role, symbolic as well as decorative. The eagle, they say, in Christianity often symbolizes St. John the Evangelist, the elevation of the spirit and the resurrection. The falcon or guardian bird can also symbolize vigilance and protection of sacred space. Only those who placed them on this church know their exact meaning.

However, the guardians are there, in my photos, so let's look at them together, but first
