Old Town Ribnik//MONOMAD CHALLENGE

Good morning Folks and dear Friends in the Black And White Community 🙌📸

Today's post is my next trip to Karlovac County, more precisely, a visit to the Old Town of Ribnik. It is located in the settlement of Ribnik, about 20-25 km northwest of Karlovac / southwest of Ozalj.
The fortress was owned by the noble families Frankopani and Zrinski. Its walls have a characteristic structure and stone openings, and it was built as a defensive fortress, with thick stone walls, small openings/shooting galleries and a simple facade without luxurious Renaissance details.
