Lukovdol – a Hidden Gem of Gorski Kotar//MONOMAD CHALLENGE

Good morning, happy Monday and the start of another week, dear friends in the Black And White Community 🙌📸

Today I continue with my last excursion to Gorski Kotar, today it's Lukovdol's turn, so I'll write a little about that part of my beautiful Croatia. Located in the green heart of Gorski Kotar, it is an ideal destination for anyone looking for peace, authenticity and contact with nature. This picturesque place is known as the birthplace of the great Croatian poet Ivan Goran Kovačić, whose spirit still lives on today through cultural heritage, events and the Ivan Goran Kovačić House. A friend wanted to take me to the mausoleum of the famous poet, but there was extremely deep snow and no one had yet made a path to the part where the mausoleum is located. So I took photos from below.

Let's go see together, but first

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge

Surrounded by forests, streams and fresh mountain air, Lukovdol offers perfect conditions for walks, excursions, cycling and relaxation away from the city crowds. Traditional Gorski Kotar architecture, hospitable hosts and a peaceful rural rhythm of life make this place ideal for a weekend getaway or a slower, more eventful holiday.

I set myself a goal to visit this beautiful region in the spring and I'm sure I'll accomplish it!

I took the photos with a Nikon D750, 50mm lens, f/1.8, manual mode, RAW format required, variable ISO and shutter speed. Processing in Photoshop Action-Black&White 3 and 2

This is all for Today, see you Tomorrow!
