Lovely kisses April/4 - a Story about a Rose
Good morning to you on this last April morning, dear friends and Photography Lovers. ππΈ
I'm in a poetic mood today, I guess I've reset and moved away from the winter, cold and stingy words and thoughts.
Buds of Hope
In the silence of early spring (not quite early, but rather late) when the air still carries traces of winter, roses awaken.
Their delicate buds, fragile and closed, tremble under the gentle touch of rain.
Droplets shine like pearls on velvety petals, as if nature were whispering β
"Slowly but surely, everything is coming back to life."
So, let's go!
Today I conceived the post (apart from being accompanied by short poetic outbursts) in a slightly educational way. Actually, not so much educational as demonstrative. Each photo will have two or three more behind it, showing what it looks like when the frame is cropped or the Geometry is made Scala, so that it feels like it was photographed that way.
As I now shoot with a 50mm lens due to its perfect 1.8 aperture, I necessarily shoot in RAW, precisely because I can crop the photo without losing its size and quality.
In that simple beauty β a drop of water on a rosebud β lies a whole story of hope, of new beginnings, of the quiet power of life.
That's all for today, I've briefly presented how I crop or change the content of a frame in Photoshop, Camera Raw Filter-Geometry-Scala.
See you tomorrow, dear friends, and tomorrow is International Labor Day
