Lasinja - a Small Place with a Big Heart and Soul
Good day dear Friends and Photography Lovers 🙌📸
At the beginning of March, I had a short trip through Karlovac County, and I have already published some posts from that trip. Today, it is the turn of a small town called Lasinja, located in the heart of the green hills between Karlovac and Zagreb, a place of rich history, natural beauty and deep spiritual tradition. Here, along the Kupa River and the peace of the rural landscape, you can also find interesting stations with church paintings that testify to the faith and culture of the local population. These stations, which are often small chapels, are located along the roads and near churches. They depict motifs such as the Stations of the Cross, saints and biblical scenes, and have served for centuries as places of prayer and a short stop for travelers, just as if they were waiting for me.
Today, these stations also represent a small cultural and spiritual path through Lasinja, folk art and religious symbolism, so a walk between them provides an opportunity for peace, reflection and getting to know the traditions of this region.
So, let's go see together!

And, this is me, photographed with my camera, the author of the photo is my good friend

I took the photos with a Nikon D750, 50mm lens, f/1.8, manual mode, RAW format required, variable ISO and shutter speed. Processing in Photoshop - Camera Raw Filter.
