We achieved third place in the Douradina 5x5 championship

On August 24, 2025, the Panthers decided to take on a challenge. The 5v5 "King of the Court" style championship would take place in the city of Douradina, Paraná state.

We would be the first to play at 9 a.m. The championship consisted of two teams: the winning team remained on the court, and the losing team moved to the back of the field. If a team won three consecutive matches, they also moved to the back of the field.

After each team played at least five matches, or lost three, they waited for the remaining teams to play to determine the four with the most wins. In the event of a tie, they would win a head-to-head match. If there was no tie, the team with the most points would qualify.

The Panthers played five matches, winning three and losing two, securing third place.

The final was played between Naviraí, with 5 wins in 5 games, and Umuarama, with only 4 substitutes. Naviraí was the only team with an official coach in the tournament. For the other teams, the players themselves provided coaching.

@vempromundo, who was in charge of coaching from the bench, even helped out by playing in two games so the other players could rest. After all, we only had two substitutes, and one of them had to leave for work when it got dark.

It was an excellent tournament; we managed to take the third-place trophy and medals and once again showcase the Panthers' reputation beyond Cianorte.

We now hope to organize an event so other cities can come and play in Cianorte, so the Panthers can be not only an excellent team but also a great host.

No dia 24 de Agosto de 2025, o time Panthers resolveu enfrentar um desafio. O campeonato 5x5 estilo ‘Rei da Quadra’ que aconteceria na cidade de Douradina no Estado do Paraná.

Seriamos os primeiros a jogar as 9 da manhã. O campeonato consistia em dois time jogavam, o time que ganhasse continuava na quadra, o time que perdesse ia para o final da fila. Se um time ganhasse 3 partidas seguidas ele ia para o final da fila também.

Após cada time jogar ao menos 5 jogos, ou perder 3, esparava os demais times jogarem para definir os 4 com mais vitórias ou em caso de empate, vitória em confronto direto, se não houvesse, quem tivesse feito mais pontos classificava.

O Panthers jogou 5 jogos, ganhou 3 partidas e perdeu 2, garantindo o terceiro lugar.

A final foi disputada entre Naviraí com 5 vitórias em 5 jogos, que foi com time completo e um treinador, e Umuarama que também teve 5 vitórias em 5 jogos, e fora com apenas 4 reservas. Naviraí era o único time que tinha treinador oficial no torneio. Os demais times os jogadores mesmo que passavam as orientações.

No Panthers quem se encarregou de ficar orientando pelo banco foi o @vempromundo, que até ajudou entrando em 2 jogos, para poder descansar os demais jogadores. Afinal tinhamos apenas 2 reservas, e 1 deles precisou ir embora para trabalhar quando foi entardecendo.

Foi um excelente campeonato, conseguimos levar o troféu e medalhas de terceiro lugar e mostrar mais uma vez o nome do Panthers para fora de Cianorte.

Esperamos agora conseguir organizar um evento para que outras cidades venham jogar em Cianorte, e o Panthers possa ser além de um excelente time, um ótimo anfitrião também.
