Quitting rarely gets a person anywhere although I think it's important to know when a pivot is required, a change that will carry someone towards better results. An example...someone getting out of an abusive relationship may be seen as quitting, however I see it as positive and affirmative action that will be of great benefit. It's all about perspective but yes, quitting (in the way you mean it) is shit.
