The Uniqueness of Hive

I didn't know what people meant when they said Hive is home to all until I became active on Hive, and got the memo. Hive is truly home for all.

The prompt of this week in the indiaunited community is "Comparing Hive with centralized social media platforms." Comparing Hive with centralized platforms feels like comparing a prisoner to a free man. Something as beautiful and interesting as Hive shouldn't be compared to centralized platforms if we are being honest.

For a platform that has been in existence for a few years, it has done more than platforms that have been in existence for so many years. When we talk about achievements, we are not talking about the number of users a platform has or how popular a platform is, we are talking about the impact of the platform. Hive has been in existence for only a short period, but it has impacted so many lives. Everybody on Hive has a story to share. These are not just simple stories, they are life-changing ones, ones that were made, possible because of Hive.

I also have a story to share about this beautiful platform.

Hive

might not be the largest social media platform out there, but it has exceeded our expectations.

On Hive, you get to meet real people, people who are ready to guide and support you, not because you did anything special but just because you engaged with their post or they found your post interesting.

Judging by the increase in cyberbullying in the world today, Hive has a very small percentage of that number. We have several bad actors, no doubt but it’s minimal compared to other platforms where people are constantly bullied.

I see a very bright and innovative future for Hive, one that is impacting millions of lives. Truthfully, seeing the market right now can be discouraging, but we believe that things will get better. We are not giving up on this home of ours because of the dip rather, we’re holding on to the endless possibilities of the future that we can see. Our faith in Hive is stronger than any dip.
