Motorheads, Love for Speed is a drama, teen romance TV series set in the year 2025. It was directed by John A. Norris, who is the creator of the story, in collaboration with Neil Burger and Rebecca Rodriguez. What is the theme of the series? It tells us about street car racing. Like many of you who have read some of my reviews, I personally love car racing, so I was interested in the production and my expectations were high. Did it live up to them? This and much more, I am going to tell you about it below.

This series has ten episodes of a total of 55 minutes each more or less. The story that tells us about a group of teenagers, which live their first loves, heartbreaks and their first cars to do one of the things they like the most, such as street racing. One of the things I like most about the series is the fact that it mixes action, adrenaline and youthful relationships. Among the main characters we have twin siblings Zac and Melissa, who along with their mother Samantha, move in with their uncle Logan Maddox. Logan is a former NASCAR driver, who owns a garage and who along with his nephews enter the world of street racing.

Norris, quien es el creador de la historia, en colaboración con Neil Burger y Rebecca Rodríguez. ¿Cuál es el tema de la serie? Nos habla sobre carreras callejeras de coches. Como muchos que alguna vez a leída algunas de mis reseñas, en lo personal amo las carreras de coches, por lo cual me interese por la producción y mis expectativas eran altas. ¿Será que las cumplió? Esto y mucho más, se los voy a comentar a continuación.

Esta serie cuenta con diez episodios de un total de 55 minutos cada uno más o menos. Las historia que nos cuenta sobre un grupo de adolescentes, la cual viven sus primeros amores, desamores y sus primeros coches para hacer una de las cosas que más les gusta, como es las carreras callejeras. Una de las cosas que más me gusta de la serie es el hecho que mezcla de acción, adrenalina y relaciones juveniles. Entre los personajes principales tenemos a los hermanos gemelos Zac y Melissa, quienes junto a su madre Samantha, se mudan con su tío Logan Maddox. Logan es un expiloto de NASCAR, quien tiene un taller y quienes junto a sus sobrinos se adentran al mundo de las competencias de autos callejeras.

The film leaves us different messages, it has a pretty good story that I don't dislike. A plot that you can enjoy a lot, it has a story full of adrenaline, action, love, it also has suspense, which makes it much more attractive, because the series does not become so predictable. Zac and Caitlyn's father, Logan's brother, is not in their lives and the reality is that at the beginning we don't know why and that's where the suspense I was talking about comes in. I mention the latter to talk about the first message that the series leaves us, which is to break with the step, as these boys must make the decision whether to follow in their own footsteps and continue with the mistakes made by their parents. The production leaves us other messages, but among the most important we have what is the power of friendship, that despite the problems that arise along the way, the support between the group of teenagers demonstrating the importance of loyalty.

I thought the director's work was excellent, he knew how to transmit what he wanted to show on the screen and give different messages to the audience, especially to the younger ones, not to make the same mistakes as others, but rather to learn from them. The script was written by the creator of the story, John A. Norris. I thought the script was quite good, everything was perfectly understood. The cast of the series is another point that I must highlight, where Ryan Phillippe plays Logan Maddox, an actor who has done different projects that I personally consider that he has done a very good job, remembering that the review is purely as a personal opinion. We also have Nathalie Kelley as Samantha, Michael Cimino as Zac and Melissa Collazo as Caitlyn, in addition to another group that make up the cast of the series with characters that form an important role in the story.

The cinematography that gives us an atmosphere full of adrenaline at the time of the races, youth drama and love. We also have quite beautiful locations that are shown in the series. Additionally, we have wonderful scenes with different visual effects, especially in the races, that take us inside the Motorheads story. Another positive point of the series is the soundtrack is excellent, with a combination of alternative rock, hip-hop and electronica, which captures all the attention of the viewer, especially the younger ones, because that is where the series is aimed, but this does not mean that they can not be seen by people of other ages, because this production can be seen by anyone, the important thing is that they like the genre.

La película nos deja diferentes mensajes, cuenta con una historia bastante bien que no me desagrada. Una trama que se puede disfrutar bastante, cuenta con una historia llena de mucha adrenalina, acción, amor, también cuenta con suspenso, lo cual la hace mucho más atractivo, pues la serie no se hace tan predecible. El padre de Zac y Caitlyn, hermano de Logan, no está en las vidas de ellos y la realidad es que al inicio no se sabe el porqué y allí entra el suspenso de la cual les hablaba. Esto último se los menciono para poder hablarles sobre el primer mensaje que nos deja la serie, que es romper con el paso, pues estos chicos deben tomar la decisión si seguir sus propios pasos y continuar con los errores que cometieron sus padres. La producción nos deja otros mensajes, pero entre lo más importante tenemos lo que es el poder de la amistad, que a pesar de que pesar de los problemas que se presentan en el camino, el apoyo entre el grupo de adolescentes demostrando la importancia de la lealtad.

El trabajo del director me pareció excelente, supo transmitir lo que quería mostrar en la pantalla y dar los diferentes mensajes al público, sobre todo a los más jóvenes de no cometer los mismos errores de los demás, más bien aprender de ellos. El guion estuvo a cargo del creador de la historia, John A. Norris. El guion me pareció bastante bien, todo se entendió perfectamente. El cast de la serie es otro de los puntos que debo destacar, donde Ryan Phillippe interpreta a o Logan Maddox, un actor que ha hecho diferentes proyectos que en lo personal considero que ha hecho un trabajo muy bueno, recordando que la reseña es netamente como opinión personal. También tenemos a Nathalie Kelley como Samantha, Michael Cimino como Zac y Melissa Collazo como Caitlyn, además de otro grupo que forman el reparto de la serie con personajes que forman un papel importante dentro de la historia.

La fotografía que nos da una atmósfera llena de la adrenalina en el momento de las carreras, el drama juvenil y el amor. También tenemos lugares bastante hermosos que se muestran en la serie. Adicionalmente, tenemos escenas maravillosas con diferentes efectos visuales, sobre todo en las carreras, que nos adentran dentro de la historia de Motorheads. Otro punto positivo de la serie es la banda sonora es excelente, con una combinación se combina rock alternativo, hip-hop y electrónica, que captan toda la atención de espectador, sobre todo de los más jóvenes, pues a ellos es donde va dirigido la serie, pero esto no quiere decir que no pueden ser vistos por personas de otras edades, pues ta producción puede ser visto por cuál persona, lo importante es que le gusto el género.

Motorheads: Lovers of Speed is a pretty good series. If it is not perfect, maybe it has some things that are not very realistic, but it is quite entertaining. Prime Video did a great job with the series, it has a good story, messages that leave us to reflect, a very interesting photography and a soundtrack that makes our skin crawl, increases the adrenaline at the time of the races. Do I recommend it? If you are a lover of the genre is a highly recommended series, it is aimed more at young people, but if you are interested, you can also see it and I think you will not be disappointed. It's not perfect, it has its little details, if I had to give it a score it would be a 9/10.

Motorheads: Amantes de la velocidad es una serie bastante buena. Si no es perfecta, tal vez tiene cosas que no es muy realista que digamos, pero sí que es bastante entretenida. Prime Video hizo un gran trabajo con la serie, tiene una buena historia, mensajes que nos deja para que reflexionemos, una fotografía muy interesante y una banda sonora que nos eriza la piel, aumenta la adrenalina en el momento de las carreras. ¿La recomiendo? Si eres amante del género es una serie muy recomendable, va dirigida más a los jóvenes, pero si le interesa, pues también la pueden ver y creo que no los va a decepcionar. No es perfecta tiene sus pequeños detalles, si tendría que darle un puntaje sería un 9/10.
