Honestly, I want to start by talking about the return of the shards, because it's a total disappointment. The shards aren't directly tied to the TOTS event; instead, you can trade the players you have for shards to buy new players. This replaces the shop where we used to buy players with coins. We have some great players, including Manchester United’s Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes, rated 120 GRL, and City’s striker Haaland, rated 119. There’s a variety of good players with a fairly affordable fragment cost, but the two mentioned are worth quite a bit, and to get them, you need to have a lot of high-GRL players. The higher the rank, the more fragments you get in exchange.


The only positive aspect of this change is that it’s easier to gather players to get fragments than it was before with coins; other than that, I don’t really see much benefit to it. The reality is that many consider it a “scam,” since paying players still have an advantage and playing the game isn’t rewarded like it used to be. This first week is dedicated to the English Premier League, where we can acquire top-tier players to strengthen our team. In the main window, at the start, there’s a section where we must select tags from each of the major league chapters that will unlock in the coming weeks. This one is dedicated to the Premier League, so we earn these badges in Rival Mode across the three head-to-head game modes: Head-to-Head Attack and Manager Mode. This event content is known as the triple formula, where we have to earn badges from the Leagues, GRL, and Custom categories; the latter focuses more on the positions of the players to be obtained. The league badges are from the five major European leagues; GRL badges range from 112+ to 116+, while the third category includes ATT, MID, DEF, and Moments.


Once you complete the first two stages of the Formula, you can unlock a player whose rank will depend on GRL badges. Then there’s the Formula Milestone, which is triggered when you reach a certain number of players in the Triple Formula; you can earn great rewards, including draft tickets, coins, badges, and more. That covers the main event window. Honestly, there isn’t much to find here; it’s pretty limited, which is something I’ve complained about on several occasions. In the second Premier League window, we find the English Premier League Season Highlights section, where a player is unlocked every day. We have to complete missions like winning matches, scoring goals with players in certain positions, scoring a certain number of goals, keeping a clean sheet, and more. This gives us TOTS tokens that we can exchange for rewards, such as training transfer points, rank tokens, draft coupons, and GRL badges.

Todo muy limitado, incluso quitaron las misiones de las pruebas de habilidades, que si bien a mí no me desagrada mucho, tal vez a otros jugadores sí, porque está bien quitar cosas, pero agregar nuevas cosas que hacer en los eventos.
