Mathematics is fun

One subject that stood out for me during my elementary school was Mathematics. There are many reasons behind this fact and I'd be glad to let you know about some during the course of this write-up.

To start with, there's a joy that comes with having lectures on mathematics since elementary school. I can also give credit to my Dad because he made it compulsory for me to know my multiplication table from 1 to 12 off head before I got to primary one. I believe that helped me with the confidence I had that "I can do any exercise in mathematics" and that made me look forward to lectures on mathematics. It was not like I didn't like other subjects, but I have just had a love for mathematics since I knew what numbers are.

Furthermore, what made mathematics more special was the fact that I didn't really have to memorize a lot. Practicing more exercises was enough to understand the logic and steps in a particular topic in maths. I can't say there aren't days where I battled for hours over one tricky question or the other but the satisfaction that comes after finally getting the correct answer is just what I need to try more tasking questions.

Moreover, Having more than one method to solve a question and still arrive at the same answer is also quite overwhelming. I remember I loved doing my mathematics assignments. Immediately, I got home whenever I was given one. Then I'll show my elder brother, not because I wasn't sure of my answers but because I wanted him to praise me for always getting the right answer.
I always had an A in mathematics in elementary school, although I didn't really take notice of that then. I took track of maintaining the first position since I got to the primary one, and whenever I saw that in my report card, I was satisfied.

It hasn't been hard to still like the subject since then because of the satisfaction I get and the love I have for it. Mathematics still interests me even though it wasn't compulsory for me in my line of study at the higher institution then.

Like this now, you're making me to like mathematics, hehehe. Truth be said, mathematics is actually a fun subject and one of the easiest to learn. No memorizing or cram work. Once you understand the formular, you're good to go.

Omo I love seeing people that have interest in maths and enjoy solving it, as for I've never liked maths even when I tried liking it because of our new maths teacher back in secondary School, I managed to score 5/15 in test if you'd ask me that was my best score since I started writing test in maths but unfortunately to me I was beaten by the teacher like serious beating.

The pain was just so much I cried till the next lesson started, since then I just told myself Abigail you don't like maths and your maths teacher is not even helping to encourage me. If the encouragement is beating me this hard then I will not stress myself anymore to solve any equation, lol and that was it oh since then till today I didn't understand what that man thought us in class till I graduated.

Anyways it's good to do what you know best and for me maths is not among and will never be 😂 if not for all this courses in school that had a touch of maths I would have said I did bye bye to maths 😂

Oh, sorry about that..
That was how I hated physics to the core and the teacher was something else. I read it to pass through my school days, it was never a subject I could boast of.

I am happy to know that you are quite good at mathematics. However, I am very weak in mathematics and I have a neglect towards mathematics. It was very nice to hear about your love for mathematics and your experience and skills.
