Warm, Session, Watercolors, Truck Engine Reinstalled and Started, 3DP, Stupid Codes, Troubleshooting - Tuesday

This is NOT Winter this year. This is an amalgamation of Spring and Fall despite the meager snow showing. 50F was the high for the day... Normally we would be below freezing during the days.

Had my weekly session which went well and now have an actionable step to take in trying to work through the various shit in my head.

After getting home I did the #doodlewash prompt of Glass and I went with the window. I'm actually pretty pleased with the look of the wall around the window.

I got out to the truck before noon and managed to get the bolt out of the bell housing, then the engine reseated against the housing and the first bolt in the flex plate. My body is pretty fucked up so I had to take breaks often.

I still had the other 3 panels to do so on the break I got them painted. Still not quite able to get depth in the two right ones. Trying to learn layering and shadowing which would do well to give depth.

The toothpick shooter printed off okay but there is something in the mechanism not allowing it to fire.

I truly hate the exhaust on the driver's side. It is SUCH A PAIN IN THE ASS to deal with and I finally got it set right. The parts went back on the engine and all the wire harnesses got recoupled. I had hit every one of them with terminal cleaner.

By 4:45pm I had the truck started and the engine was running. I still have the 4lo/4x4 light flashing which is NOT good. I also have codes that keep getting set that I have to work on figuring out today.

I may have fucked up an oxy sensor in my frustration with the exhaust... Then the MAF might be wonky and I will test it today. The truck shifted into drive and reverse and moved so that is good. I really have some troubleshooting to do now that I am just really hoping will be easier rather than harder to fix.

So this morning after I get the boys to school I will be trying to figure out the codes. My sincere hope is that this thing will be driveable today as I am nearing 1 year of it being fucked up. If anything at this point I am VERY WELL VERSED in the removal of this stupid engine so when I rebuild the old Yota engine it should be super easy. And thus the sled's engine will be even easier to deal with as it will likely need to come out for new head gasket(s). But that can't happen until I have the truck running so I have wheels.
