Utd, Pumpkin Picking, Trim, 3DP, Date, Squash Plants, HIke, Sunset - Saturday
It was a bit of a surprise when Utd actually won yesterday morning. The over riding expectation is they will shit the bed YET again this year.

It was time to harvest the pumpkins and as I went through the patch I found a few bad ones. This one was super mushy on the bottom.

I had these two others that were bad.

But I got the cart filled with the rest of the good ones and hauled to the deck.

69.5 lbs is the biggest and total of 300 lbs.

J wanted his hair buzzed off and I had to get a shot of the balding look. Lol.

Made a big Dibbler for the giant garlics. 4" tall and 4" across the base.

I have to come up with new plastic for the garden shed roof for the winter. It needs a new roof in general but that will be waiting longer. For now it will get plastic on it to sheet the rain and snow off and protect the bees inside.

The yo-yo came out [pretty good but I need to print it in PLA and with ironing to smooth it out a lot better.

Mid afternoon @stryeyz and I went up north to get drinks. The clouds were looking quite nice as they streamed down from the north.

Margaritas and nachos before heading back to the farm.

The bad squash got towed over to the sheep pen where they began devouring as soon as I was moved far enough away.

Then the plants had to start going. I got the cart overloaded with the vines and then hauled the thing to the pen and dumped them out.

They were over joyed at the sudden plethora of tasty nibblins.

@stryeyz wanted to see the sunset so we were walking out the trail when we found this laying in the middle. Nasty old dead squirrel that likely got dislodged from one of the trees overhead.

Up the trail towards my kiting spot.

And of course the wind was spot on for some gentle kiting...

The rest of this is the evolution of the sunset. Some seriously amazing looking clouds and lighting at times.

Today @stryeyz flies mid day so we get her to the airport this morning. The garden will be worked on more, Seahawks play, I slept for pure shit so will be dealing with that all day, and the farm has to be prepped for the 30F temps tomorrow morning.

Beautiful Sunset my friend, tell @stryeyz to have a safe flight!😊
Thank you! Direct flight to Vegas, should be pretty mellow. I love flying!
I do as well, enjoy your trip!🤗😊☺️
Awesome that the sheep eat your garden waste. Hahaha with the squirrel carcass, that made me laugh. Fall clouds are always so beautiful, aren't they? I took some photos yesterday as the sky was amazing. Have a great day.
