Tour, Cucs, Potatos, 3DP, Eagle, Grilling, Cooler, Bikes, Tire - Saturday

Yesterday morning I was rooting for Sepp Kuss to win stage 20 of the tour but he blew up in the last 10k and got 3rd after a couple crashes on a downhill. So close!

In the greenhouse earlier I trimmed tomatoes and grabbed the couple cucs that were ready.

Then I was out in the ex potato patch where there was no irrigation this year but volunteer spuds. Not a lot but still a few yellows were dug.

Amazingly there are still some peas that are growing on the amazingly still alive plants.

Earlier in the morning I had found a nice bike stand to print. I want it to hold the rear tire of my bike in the air a bit to make it easier to take the rear tire off or just have a stand for it so it isn't leaning against the wall. This is the base piece.

Hiked up the hill and found that our fledgling bald eagle had FINALLY learned to fly as it was no longer perched by the nest.

In the main garden in the later afternoon I got about 20 feet of potatoes dug and filled the basket. It was about 5 feet of 4 rows. The red Nordland spuds are a great variety.

One arm done.

The winds were too high and the weather too dry for a fire in the pit so dinner was done on the Blackstone.

The other arm finished.

It was 7:30pm when one of our window a/c units delivered. The one in the cooler had died so I quickly got the new one stripped down and installed in it's place. I have to check this morning if it really cooled it down well enough overnight. Even with the much smaller garden this year we still need it to hold produce grown.

I then remembered I needed to get the bikes on the rack on the car as we are leaving early this morning for the bike rides in the valley.

The support arm was done by 8:30 and I got the last piece printing which is done on the printer this morning.

Amazon fucked up delivery so I did not get my spare tubes. I still have tubes from my old bike which runs 25C tires compared to the 32C of my new. I stuffed one of the tubes in my tire and it inflated and seems just fine for pressure. I stuffed a spare in my saddle bag in case.

Today is the Cycle Celebration rides. @stryeyz and the boys are doing the 10 mile ride while I am doing the 50 mile ride.
