The Deluge, AM, PDC, Deep Cock, The PANTRY, 3DP, Utd, Town, Post Storm - Monday
I am NOT sleeping. Pretty much at all it feels like. 3am is kind of useless to be up at when it is dark until 7am now...

It didn't matter much though since the storm was right there with the light. As the sun slowly rose the rain quickly invaded and pounded down for the morning.

10 am it was still dumping.

And finally near noon the damn storm pushed off and we got a bit of clearing finally. The winds picked up a bit as the clouds moved off.

Some serious upsets happening in the PDC and I missed seeing Menzies lose and bloody his hand with the table punch. Cammy has an anger problem it looks like.

One of my asshat roosters deep in the creek. It's a Where's Waldo for a dumb rooster in the brush. I was hoping the coyote would get it as I have WAY too many roosters now on the farm.

The pantry has been getting put on the back burner for FAR too long. With the morning of rain I spent my time working on the cleanup. SO MUCH to shuffle and shift around. I am finding a lot of food stuffs that we have now extra of...

Found a different chess board to try out and got the first one printed.

Works quite nice and it only 6x6".

Dirk managed to win his match.

LOL, Man Utd SUCK!!!!! Seriously they are trash and need to be relegated.

Morons tied 4-4 to Bournemouth...

I got to the school and picked R up then after a short stop back at the farm we headed into town for his PT appointment. The storm had passed and the sky was open. Really nice to see after the days and days of rain.

Couldn't help but laugh at the "TDS" given the current use of the acronym... I made it to the bank and got my business card working finally then stopped at the store before picking R up. We waited a bit to see @stryeyz as she was in the same parking lot for one of her appointments.

The back sided of the storm as it moved off and the sun sank in the west. 5 minutes later the light had changed dramatically and it was gray.

Got home to see the second print had stopped due to running out of filament. I popped a little black back in and finished a few layers then tossed white on for 6 layers that did the grid lines. At layer 20 I swapped back to black and finished the rest. The case printed out well but I need slightly shorter pieces to fit inside.

More flowers for @stryeyz. Real flowers are all well and good but they are dying the moment they are cut. Fake flowers give the color year round and most importantly in the middle of winter when it is needed the most.

The boys made waffles for dinner and I worked on pulling the carpeting from the pantry. This is the LAST carpet in the entire house and I have been wanting this shit gone for years. NOW is the time! Fuck this old garbage. I am just fine with subfloor. The rest will get removed today mid day.

Pretty much no sleep so I have been up essentially all night off and on. Today starts off busy with 2 appointments this morning after getting the boys to school, first my individual session then my chiro. PDC is on like everyday now, the pantry awaits my return, my Thumbtack account is nearly active now and just need a review written, one of R's friends might be over this afternoon, and there is likely cleanup around the farm from all the wind.

Living on the humid wet side of Washington, I have been gradually pulling all of our carpet as well!
Much nicer putting down laminate flooring, easier to clean less allergic reactions my friend!👍😀
And no place to harbor shitty molds... Probably the worst part of the PNW in my opinion.
Absolutely...... the humidity is so high over here, that the carpet felt damp even in the summertime with no rain!🙄
I really noticed this when we would go over and have a mini vacation over by Leavenworth.....
We would unpack a suitcase, and our clothes felt damp!
Damn humidity........
That was really a heavy downpour that lasted so long, thank goodness it finally subsided and you still went out on your duty. How are your boys 😂 !!.
