Sunny Day, 3DP, Chiro, THE STUMP IS MOVED!, Soreness, Skis, Kraken Krush - Tuesday
I woke up sore yesterday but knew I had my chiro soon so sucked it up for the few hours. We got a really nice sunny start to the day but it took a good while to warm up. I got the boys to school then tried to run the spool out of filament.
The chiro appointment went good and I had taken my wing with in hopes of going to Saltese but as I drove towards the bypass the sled coughed and sputtered before the check engine light glowed again, then the thing ran semi normal. I took no chances though and headed straight for home, really really annoyed.
While going to get the mail mid day we had a solid line of clouds come over as the winds had picked up some.
I looked over the edge of the road at the creek and saw the stump was still lodged in the narrow point. I went and got my boots and gloves and went back out to try and move it finally. The stump has been stuck in the spot for years and causes a serious backup of the creek in high flows. That can lead to the road getting eaten away so I am very conscious of it each spring.
Last summer I had levered the thing up a bit with a big pipe but the water was low so I was lifting the entire weight. I ended up doing it at the right time finally when the water was still high enough to float the thing. I used logs and branches to lever on the stump which the water helped push down stream.
It was a fight for sure but I managed to get it out of the little creek so we won't get major backups again. This had been a task on my list for years.
@stryeyz picked up R's new skis which I didn't get a shot of but he is super stoked. They are 118 but that is fine as his last were 116. They are in great shape and we can now head back up to the mountain asap.
I finally got the filament roll finished and swapped to PLA again for more dummy parts. Surprisingly they managed to print okay.
The Kraken played in the evening and the game looked to be runaway after the first period.
Then the second period started and the Kraken went off with 5 unanswered goals.
The third period was more quiet but they still added another for the blowout. Hopefully they can manage an iota of momentum going into tonight's game.

Out to soak and managed half an hour before I headed for bed.
The print was done just in time for me to pull it before going to bed.
Today I'm still sore but the Flexeril helped overnight. I'll get the boys to school in a bit, the printer is going already, the timing chains are ordered and will be here tomorrow, I'll see what codes popped on the sled, J has running club starting today so will pick him up after, then R has practice tonight.

Nice that you got new skis for R!😊
I hope the codes are not anything serious …..😇
O2 sensors. I went to look at the parts stores and the things are $80+ EACH and I went to amazon and they are $18 each... I'm not racing this thing I just need them to work. They'll be here Friday.
Score!👍
I always try to check Amazon, everything is so expensive in the Pacific Northwest!🙄
