Yesterday morning I headed to North 40 for a degreaser then stopped at the grocery store for a few things. Nicely both had few people being earlier in the day. Once home I headed out to get the chipper going.

It took me about an hour to get the rest of the larger branches all run through, as well as raking up needles and twigs to cram through the machine.

It is down to debris and the larger burned branches. I will have the boys rake it all together on the old burn pile to clean up the area. I now know about how long it takes to chip a pile as large as it was. Which is good info if I get any chipping jobs.

The pile of chips is a nice size and I probably got about 1.5 cu yards of fine chips out of the pile of branches.

After noon I was in the greenhouse and found a full arm load of cucumbers were ready to pick.

The boys had doctor's appointments in town which got moved from the north side where the evac zones are to downtown. J had a sports physical and both had checkups. R tried to get his head stuck in the waiting room wall.... Of course.

On our way home we stopped for food at Hop Mountain which was quite busy but we bided out time playing what do you meme. Good food and beer and then stopped to pickup my car then home. The AQI has remained shitty and the temps pretty warm so it was not until about 2am this morning that I got the house opened up to cool off.

Today the air is still awful. I have to go pressure wash some oil off a driveway then stop at another client's house to see about repairing the railing along the wheelchair ramp leading to the front door of the board and care. A small section came loose and needs to be refixed solidly. Need to get a bike ride in at some point if the air is mellow enough though today is a red flag day and the winds are to be gusty again with mid 90s F temps. The Northside groups are not riding much right now due to the air quality anyways.

I bought my chipper shredder in Colorado because no one understood what mulch was Lol.......
As it turned out I didn't have enough material living in the high desert to create a meaningful amount of mulch!!🙄
Now I regret getting rid of it.....
This Bearcat is pretty suite. My FIL always like to buy quality tools so this was a great gift from him. He got it North Dakota... not exactly know for its vast expanses of trees other than windrows.
Looks like you are putting it to good use my friend!!!👍😀
Do you always keep a game in the car for such occasions! If so, I like the idea!
This was one of the ones that Hop Mountain has. They have a few shelves with various games.
Also a great idea!
