Sno-aining, Flies Of NW, Battery, Dumping, 3D Printing, Finishing, Cleaning, Organizing, Ozzy - Friday
It was a wet morning yesterday and then just kept dumping most of the day. I had ambitions to do work on the truck but the deluges made that a problem as the rain fell to fast to soak in and I got puddles under the truck in the carport....

After dropping the boys at school I headed to the Fly Shop to pickup the book I need.

I gave Kris one of the bobbin holders I am printing out and he was rather excited about it. I was super excited for the book. There is a tying class today I am going to and will bring more holders to give to the others in the class.
I got out to the sled in the parking lot and went to start it but got nothing but a click. WELL... what a good
time to test out the jump start battery pack which worked like a charm. Had it charged to 100% and after the jump start it was down to 88%. Way better paying the $15 for it in ND rather than $65 like in stores here.

My original next to the new version of the book. The new is all color and WAY nicer!

It was just shit weather, on the edge of snow and rain all day long.

Then this mass came plowing through and we ended up with it raining and big huge fat flakes falling.

Just a soggy mess on the farm.

This was a serious pain in the ass to get to print as the printer kept faulting on print quality errors and had to be resumed numerous times.

Since the truck was not getting worked on I decided to work on organizing in the house. These are our identification books that all needed to be shifted to a lower shelf and organized better.

I got the bobbins all out and worked on cleaning up the rough spots and smoothing them out so the threads don't get damaged.

For the evening I set about cleaning more and put on the last Ozzy concert. It was very good to keep the momentum of cleaning going.

The fireplace is now cleared and able to be used after a lot of shuffling.

I gave R a task for a bit of crumbling the pea shells to extract the peas from this year. He got a good bit done but his hands got sore after a bit. Something for him to work on later.

RIP Ozzy. It was 11pm when I finally shut it off and we headed towards bed.

Shit sleep as per my norm again. Less rain today, I'm going to the fly tying class at 10, then might be able to work on the truck since there is not much rain for the day.
