Got my watercolor for the day done which I could only think of the Cheshire cat smile.

As I sat warming the car up to leave I saw the odometer.

SO Close. it turned to the 5 as the trip turned to 144.4.

Raining down lower as we headed for the hill.

Snowing nicely at the mountain when we got there with an inch or so fallen by then.

J and I headed up the hill and were able to run a bunch of runs that were no nearly in good enough condition prior.

This was Valhalla which had a nice layer of powder which made the skiing slower and a bit harder though quite fun. I found open runs with no one on them despite the mountain having a good turnout.

By 12:30pm I was done as my quads were shot and my hips and foot were kicking my ass. R and Abo busied themselves on the deck clearing the tables of the snow. There was about 5" of snow that had fallen by the time we left, and they got 8" for the day. It was great to ski the storm and get fresh tracks everywhere.

After skiing we went to our friend's house up north for burgers and to hang out a while. The kids all had fun together, we talked and ate and my body was a pile of pain. Was near 8pm when we left. Burned my hand on the brake caliper trying to remove snow from the rim so it didn't keep the wheel vibration up.

Slept on couch thanks to my body, the constant pain, no position allowed my hips to relax as well as the rest of my body just being sore. Tons of ibu did little to alleviate it.

Dry day today before more weather. Boys to school soon, weekly session this morning, will setup orthotics appointment, try to reduce the pain level in my body, and maybe my body will allow me to do something useful today.
