Rain, Watercolors, Utd, Truck Engine Removed, Torque Converter Tested, NFL, Aim - Sunday
I was up early as normal yesterday so got my post done then got my daily 4 watercolors done. The clip on book light works great on the sketchbook and allowed me to see nicely in the dark predawn of the house. My shoulder is pretty torched now and thankfully the cough has begun to subside so maybe the shoulder and back won't be so beat up by the hacking.
I have the need to learn to draw since my sketching ability is at the level of a 5th grader and it will REALLY help the watercolor efforts. I have my pencil sketchbook and a number of books I need to add into my daily painting routine.

I wasn't expecting much weather over the day and the doppler looked mellow earlier. It wasn't till a bit later in the day when the rains actually hit.

9:30am I was out working on the truck and pulling parts from the engine to pull it out yet again.

Man Utd came on with their FA cup match against Brighton and what a shit show as per their norm. They don't deserve to be in ANY cup contention this year and likely will be out of all of them next year. I didn't have to watch the match but listened as I worked.

By noon the engine was nearly out save a single bolt I missed on the bell housing.

And by 12:45 the engine was out and hanging from the hoist.

Once it was out I was able to take the torque converter off and had to figure out how to test it. I eventually figured out I could use a flat head screw driver to hold the parts inside so I could spin the gears. It spun free clockwise and locked correctly counter clockwise. I am still really unsure why the 4x4 light was blinking and the thing wouldn't engage gears.

Mid day the rain hit and it was a lighter rain that did little to melt off the snow cover. It's to be near 50F today and tomorrow which may do some good melting.

In the evening while the NFL games were on I did a half sheet watercolor that I am pretty happy with. I managed to get some rather nice looking clouds and a little bit of perspective

My triple hitting is getting far better with a 3x 20 about every other throw. I am getting a lot of 81 and 85s now.

This morning I will get the boys to school first thing, do my daily art, then the truck engine needs to be put back in in hopes of everything working correctly finally, the printer will be going soon, then this evening is R's first wrestling practice of the season.

Do you think you found the problem with the truck?🤔
No clue. TQ is fine and that was a main step in the troubleshooting so now am not positive what caused it to bork.
Hmmm……🤔
That’s frustrating my friend!😮
