Rain was the case that they gave me...
Yesterday woke to the rain still falling and it had no sign of slowing during the morning.

Tour of the Alps is amazing scenery that I would love to cycle and paraglide! Someday maybe.

I got the boys to school then setup my trainer and bike and got to spinning. Training plan was for max effort intervals which I kind of did at the 5, 10, 20, and 1 hr marks. Can see my speed, hr, cadence, and power peaks for each.

I can't seem to get my heart rate to go to zone 5 so have reset my levels to see how I sit now. I will find out today on my ride.

Hit my fastest 40k and 1 hr effort. And am over 300 miles for the month. Looking to hit 400 by the end of April.

I had my weekly session which went well and I am digging into some of my core issues. It's good to finally find the awareness but now what do I do with the knowledge....?

Before leaving for the appt I checked Autozone as I need a new brake caliper for the car. Slightly wrong part number so they had to have it brought up from Spokane and I will pick it up this morning, along with new brake pads.

It was still dumping rain at noon when I drove up to Deer Park to the Autozone.

Despite the look it didn't stop raining until closer to 2:30.

It stayed cloudy the rest of the day until just before sunset when the sun came out for a few minutes.

After dinner which was nice and fast @stryeyz and I went up to the bar for a couple drinks and to talk. I had a number of things from my session to go over which does help in the grand scheme.

Today there is a chance of rain mid day and I am going to toss the rack and panniers on my bike and ride to Deer Park to pickup the parts. It will be my first ride with the panniers so it will be interesting to see how much wind resistance they cause. Once back I will do the brake work on the car. Pickup R after STEM then pickup J after track, and then come up with dinner.

No rain but I had a damn strong wind the whole time. Gusts to 25+mph from the north/ne and it was the first time riding with my panniers so they added to the drag and I had to lean into the wind pretty hard. Got the brake caliper and pads while on the ride though.

You are definitely getting different weather patterns than we are on the west side.....
Yesterday was just a misting rain and it stopped by the afternoon.😅
