Rain, PT, 3DP, The Farm Is Covered In Mushrooms! - Monday

7am PT yesterday morning and holy balls did I need it. The whole problem in my arm is all referred pain from my back being so completely jacked up. I've found the knots and have been abusing myself with numerous implements to try and reduce the size and intensity of the crunchy balls of muscle.

Another 1/3" of rain.

La Nina doing its thing. This month we are 160% or normal.

And are tied with 2022 exactly on this day. One thing I find very interesting about this graph is it shows the summer variations of dryness. Very distinctly June to September show nearly level points for most years. This is the kind of data I like, this micro climate record or precipitation.

The printer was going with the universal holders and they did get a bit of wonkyness in the holes but they cleaned up okay.

I spent much of the morning trying to keep my body in less pain and after a trip to the package box I decided to head out for a hike of the farm. HOLY SHIT is this place coated in fungus! They are everywhere! And an incredible variety.

This is my favorite picture of this whole lot. Such a crazy looking mushroom!

This is my other favorite shot. The DOF ended up just a bit off so the front fungus is slightly out of focus but the larger is perfect.

Went up the hill and into the sheep pen and as I climbed the hill these guys were scattered everywhere.

This one looked nifty, I held the camera level and this is the angle it is growing at out of the moss.

I had to print some slightly shortened screws as the t bars I made caused the center attachment point to be a tiny bit shallower. I scaled these down only on the vertical axis by about 5% which worked out perfect as they screw down tight.

Actually sunny today, I slept for shit and woke up to my shoulder enraged. Boys are to school, printer is going already, heading to fly shop soon to get a couple tying tools, will work on cleaning up around the house, try to keep my body from seizing up, and come up with dinner this evening.

I love these mushroom photos, dear @flemingfarm ! VERY interesting, the one you said is your favourite - is it a kind of boletus? The spongey part instead of gills seems rather waterlogged, so that might make it harder to identify. Great photos, anyways 🍄🍄
