Rain, Finished Irrigation Install, Sore - Tuesday
Rain again yesterday but it was on and off all day long.

We had a cell move past and DUMPED for a short while before speeding off east.

More was behind it but nicely it thinned a bit by mid morning.

Got the boys to school, loaded car with tools, went to my session, then went back to the install. First thing was to dig out the spot for the valves and box.

With the box in place I built the valve manifold.

Then the fun of figuring out which line went to which zone so I could tie them all in together. 5 zones, 3 in the front yard and 2 in the back yard. I was a tiny bit concerned about the one zone as it has 2 rotors and 5 pop-ups on it but there was more than enough pressure.

Cells kept rolling through and it would DUMP rain for a few minutes which had me waiting it out under the eaves of the house.

The controller got mounted and the wires run to the valves.

I had to run to North 40 to get the pipe to hose bib coupler real quick which nicely was only 3 miles away. Once the system was pressurized and the leaks stopped in the manifold I tested all the zones. I am really pleased with the coverage of the sprinklers.

By 2pm I had the system finished and showed Hugh each zone and the simple operation of the controller. Paid up I cleaned up and headed for home. I got home minutes after the boys got home from school.
Next week I have jobs lined up already for Tuesday thru Thursday. I am stupid sore this morning and really should get a bike ride in as I have not ridden this week yet at all and am not taking my bike with this weekend.

Boys to their last day of school in a bit, then I have to get a section of fence to repair what I damaged at the job, just a 8 foot section. Boys home by noon, need to pack, get farm setup for the days, then we will be heading to Helena for my SIV this weekend.
