Rain Deluge, 3D Printing, Leeks, FARM FUNGUS, Grades, Articulated, Dinner - Wednesday
I was awake at 3 am yesterday morning as the rain pounded down outside. As always my brain turned on and wouldn't shut off again so up I got.

It wasn't too long though before the backside of the storm came through like a switch and suddenly the rain was done before the dawn even broke. Just shy of 1/4" from the few hours of down pour.

Most of the day was cloudy until way late in the day.

12 hours to print the snake and it came out great. It is nearly 5 feet long and extremely articulated.

The different lights give the gray a interesting change.

The dragons and the snakes.

Out making rounds I was happy to see the leek row is still okay looking. A little worse for wear from the freezes but still growing.

Wandering I found OOOOOOODLES of fungus all around the farm.

It's wild the variety of fungus that grow, sometimes directly next to each other.

These are growing next to the coop and pop up every year. This year the mycelium must have spread WAY Farther as the same type are growing 40 feet away.

The patch is huge now and really must be tagged onto the fir tree root systems that are all around.

This guardian model printed out. Not sure what the Guardian is from but I thought it looked a bit like a Sentinel from the Matrix. All the prints for the day are articulating.

The boys had a half day of school and a long weekend now. We had their school conferences to get to so I walked out to the road where @stryeyz picked me up and we managed to get to J's classroom a couple minutes late.

He is doing extremely well in school. He likes school and the school loves him. He is well liked amongst his peers and is humble and helpful to others and is helping bring the grades of others up around him. I told him he could very easily be a teacher in the future and all his teachers would write him glowing letters to whatever he wanted.
We just made it to R's meeting at the other school which was FAR better than last year's meetings. He has grown a lot and is learning to make better decisions in the class. He is high energy but the teacher allows him to move as long as he pays attention, which he does. His testing scores are getting much better and they have constantly improved.

Shai-Hulud articulated model took 5 hours but it came out great. I scaled it up which made the joints a bit loose and I fucked up the support and forgot the make it only on the build plate which made getting the shit out of the mouth really difficult.

I managed to get it but it's not nearly as nice as it should be.

Tomato paste could really just be sold in chubs, like ground beef chubs, it would make getting the stuff out super easy. I've found the cans must be opened on both ends which makes getting the paste out a lot faster and with no scooping.

Spaghetti for dinner as we had a loaf of garlic bread we needed to eat.

4am wake up this morning... PT appt first thing, I'll get the printer going, later remove the a/c from the pantry, boys are off school, I'll work around the farm some more, and then come up with dinner this evening.
