Predawn Grain Run, Emptying, Birds, PDC, Bits, Utd?, Doh, Glider Brake Handles, Spool Tree Kit - Thursday
The moon was bright still as I headed to town before 5am yesterday morning for a load of grain.
The glow of day was just hitting the east a few miles later.
The lights worked in my favor on the way down and I got to the brewery quickly and was soon loading the grain.
The morning glow had increased and looked pretty nifty. The foreground sucks but the sky looked cool,
Stopped for gas on the way home so @stryeyz didn't have to do it.
I pulled onto the farm then backed the trailer to the sheep pen and shoveled the grain all out to them. The last bits got dumped out on the pole garden.
I didn't get a picture of it but while most of the birds were still in the coop I went in and cut wings. All the birds that were in there got one wing clipped. I'm done with them getting into places they aren't supposed to be. I need to get the last ones that I missed still but may wait till tomorrow morning since I am flying this morning.
The PDC was on and some solid matches happened. Dobey managed to get a win on the day.
The hex bit tray I printed got filled with bits. It holds almost all of the bits I have and makes it SUPER easy to see what I have now.
It was the Utd shit show again only they somehow managed to sneak out the win. They didn't deserve it and totally should have lost. Wooo, a single bright spot in a season of shit.
Mid day I threw my clothes in the wash then ran them in the dryer since I don't have the clothes line put up yet.
My dumb ass jumped in the car to go get the boys and drove to the school to park and realize I was a half hour early. I'm too used to the 3:30 pickup I forgot the STEM was at 4. So back home I drove and then was back at the correct time to get them.... Thankfully it's only a 7 minute drive.
I did a search and found a killer set of brake line handles for my glider. I printed them out in some of the best quality I have produced so far. They took a while but it is well worth it now.
They pop together over the lines so no glue or screws. This will be super fun to try out today at Tekoa.
I also went and found a cool paracord spool that I scaled to 3 inch diameter and printed out.
I then spooled the 100 ft length of 500lb test line onto it and it fit PERFECTLY! This is my tree kit for my glider so if I land in a tree I can get myself down about 80 feet.
Printed off a couple more spools since I have another length and other lines that could use the spool.
She was at bible study till later but still joined for soak. Got flying planned for this morning before crashing to bed.
Today I drop the boys at school then I will get a couple things done around the house before I head south to fly at Tekoa again this morning with Damaris. I'll head back north mid day and have time in the afternoon to work. Might head to Inkler's this evening for glass off, will have to see if I feel like the extra driving or not.

Have a good flight, my friend!👍😊
Hopefully you won’t ever need that tree kit…🙄
Better to be prepared and never need.
Absolutely my friend..... have a safe, and enjoyable flight!!👍😀
Lol, landed in a hawthorne after a great flight. But I did get my first real thermals!
Ouch!🙄
Other than the landing, I hope you had a great flight!😊
You certainly are having fun with that 3D printer, and are making lots of useful items that you can use yourself.
