Mellow traffic down thanks to the super early time.

The dawn light to the east was really cool. The colors were rather vibrant as I got the barrels emptied to the trailer.

The grain was still steaming warm and I got the 3 and a bit barrels transferred to the trailer.

It was a solid load and steamed the entire ride back to the farm.

The better dawn light pic. As I headed for the farm I was going north on Post street when I saw the FedEx plane coming in to land. I was a bit earlier this time. It's a small game I play with the pick ups to see if I see the plane or not since it is pretty consistent on timing.

The color changed as I headed north and the sun got closer to rising.

As soon as I got home I backed the trailer into the sheep pen, who were up the hill and had no clue I was shoveling the grain out. I have another load to get on Saturday so this one just got dumped here. The animals ran down the hill for the grain as soon as they saw it. The birds ran for it once I let them out.

Printed more deterrents and got a pack sent off to @silvertop to try on the west side. I have high hopes for these things to work.

Out in the garden I got the irrigation lines all laid out then after closing each off I gave the 2 zones a test and found only a single emitter was missing from the hundreds. Much better than other years.

Then the plastic got pulled out in the garden. This is so much easier now having the large sheets to work with and not a bunch of smaller patchwork pieces. I weighted the edges down but will add more rocks and bricks to make sure it stays put.

I spent some time working on the planting plan then but am having trouble deciding what to plant this year. I don't want to have to run all the garden spots but may need to just to have a place to put all the potatoes I still have in the basement.

Picked J and C up after running club then this was done not long after getting back to the farm. The extra frame parts for the dummy. This went to our kit so we now have black and white parts available.

I also got my wing packed and everything ready for paragliding today.

While the boys hung out I had pulled some steaks from the freezer to thaw and got the fire going in the pseudo pit. I grilled the steaks and we ate on the deck in the slightly cool evening air.

Soaked for a while but was inside early and in bed thanks to the 4am wake up.

Today we are going to fly Scoop Mountain again and hopefully get in some much longer flights. I'll get the boys to school, animals all let out and fed, then will hit the store for a rack for Duane before heading for the LZ where we will hike and then fly, the boys have STEM club I need to pick them up from at 4, then hopefully do some more in the garden later.
