Pain, N40, Saw Mod, Sparrow Chicks, Tree Limbing, Owl Hork - Sunday
Another night of shit sleep thanks to another dream, only my second in many many years, and it was a continuation of the first from the prior night. My shoulder was torched and I got up at 5am to abuse it with the Theracane. Eventually only Flexeril managed to calm it down by mid morning.
I headed to North 40 after 9am and it was not nearly as slammed as on Friday. Picked up hammocks and spray fluids for the shop.
Once back I spent time getting the trigger safety removed from the chainsaw. It made it so I could only use the saw with one hand due to having to depress the safety. So off it came and the saw works SOOO much easier now.

Clanked a pipe against the outside of the tool shed and saw a bird dart off. After a moment of searching I found the little sparrow had a nest and a clutch of chicks that all fought for what they hoped was food coming at them.

J had his first flag football match which @stryeyz took him to while R stayed home with me. I grabbed the saw and hiked up the hill and limbed one of the downed trees. The saw cuts like a champ but I ran the battery too low to buck much of the top. The trigger was way easier to engage without the safety and the saw being lighter was easier to hike with.

I had dropped my glasses when a branch thwacked my head as it fell over which I did not notice till back at the house. So back up the hill I went to get them then roamed the trees on top finding oodles of owl hork on the ground beneath certain trees. It barely all fit in my hand.

The one in my hand is HUGE and could only be from a great horned owl as it would have taken a big throat to get that out. Some of the others are for sure from smaller owls and they all looked to be a bit weathered to varying degrees.

Better sleep last night with no dreams but my shoulder is still jacked, though the Flexeril that helped me sleep. This morning I get the boys to school, then I have a job to do in town working on a fence. I got my Varia last night and will try it out on a ride early afternoon. At some point I will get the garden planted, I'm not to enthused to do so this year so we will have a very limited amount growing. Better than tossing it to the birds when it goes bad at least and since I am the only one working in the gardens it will give me time back in life.
